project life 2014 | weeks 14 & 15

30 April 2014

It's funny how time passes so quickly! I had hoped to be quicker here to catch up on my missing weeks and hopefully I can do this by the weekend !

So weeks 14 and 15 are finished, I am really enjoying this documenting. I use my iPhone 95% of the time, but it is always with me. I find that the documenting encourages us to do more activities. I for one have certainly been a lot more active since starting Project Life in May last year. I have lost over 2 stone and have started running. I am hoping to get to a standard to be able to enter local competitions next year and set a *decent* time :)

Anyway, on with the pages...

For these weeks I have used my Studio Calico monthly Project Life kit. I also received some *freebie* Monthly Moments pocket pages cards from Papertrey Ink with a recent stamp/die order and I immediately fell in love with their cards. I have used two on the page directly above (the two middle 3x4 cards) so I have ordered their Monthly Moments paper pad and am looking forward to mixing that in with my Studio Calico and CitrusTwist kits.

Thanks for looking and I'll be back very shortly with Week 16 !

project life 2014 | weeks 9 &10

19 April 2014

Just popping by today with a very quick post of my Project Life pages for weeks 9 and 10 of 2014. I am up to date with my Project Life having just completed week 15 but am a little bit slow posting them here. But I hope to get that sorted out over the next week :)

So without further delay, here are my pages ~

Week 9

Week 10 ~

I have used Studio Calico's Sugar Rush Project Life kit to complete both these weeks and added in my CitrusTwist Pocket Life kit to week 10:)

Thanks for visiting and happy weekend.

go on and celebrate !

17 April 2014

Hello all and I hope the week is treating you well. Just a quick post today with my entry for this weeks Case Study Challenge #187. Our muse is Jaclyn and here is my take ~

I was inspired by her colour choice and vellum pockets to create a shaker card filled with lovely sparkling sequins! Who doesn't love shaker cards - hours of fun!

The jar stamp and die are from Paper Smooches. The amazing sentiment is from a set by Mama Elephant and I used Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The sequins and the vellum paper are from Studio Calico.

Thanks for looking. Have a great weekend, I am off to Lyon tomorrow with Zachary for his 3 month diabetes check up.

Happy Easter and Joyeuses Pâques.x

have a ball !

8 April 2014

Back for a second time today with my entry for this weeks Case Study Challenge #185. Our muse is Jaclyn Miller and here is my take on her card ~

For this card I used the Paper Smooches stamp set Crystal Clear and I used the second generation stamping technique using Studio Calico ink pads. I added some Wink of Stella and some gems to the flowers. Finished off the card with a narrow strip of glitter card stock under the vases.

Also entering this card into the Make the Day Special Stamp Store challenge 1 - Anything Goes :)

Thanks for visiting.x

hoppy easter !

8 April 2014

Spring is finally here in our part of France, the grass is green and the sun is shining - well not today, it's raining, but we did have a lovely weekend. Easter is fast approaching and with that in mind I'm playing along with the Paper Smooches Anything Goes (Week 1) challenge. I used the A Magical Spring stamp set to create my card ~

I coloured the bunny and bird using watercolour pencils and added some glossy accents to the bunny's nose and eyes. The sentiment is from the stamp set too.

The balloons are from Make a Wish by Clearly Besotted Stamps and I finished the card with Doodlebug sequins.

Thanks for visiting.x
